High Quality ◊ Always Fresh ◊ Great Price
Roy's Roast-to-Order Coffee custom roasts specialty-grade, single-origin coffees from around the world and offers them at a better price than your local coffee shop or specialty-retailer.
We custom roast each order to the level the customer desires, and we only do it after the order is placed so that the coffee beans are always at their freshest.
About Roy's Roast
Roy’s Roast coffee is homemade in accordance with California’s Cottage Food Operator law (AB1616), Certificate #: CFO FA0031483 issued by the County of Ventura and licensed to operate by the City of Ventura. It starts with high-quality, specialty-grade green coffee beans. They are all single-origin coffees. All Roy's Roast coffees are specialty-grade quality and are shade grown at high altitude. They are roasted in a commercial-grade roaster one order at a time.
Coffee is at its best from three to seven days after roasting, after which time it begins to degrade. Most coffee-roasting companies roast their coffee in large batches, package it, shelve it, and then look for customers. Even most other "roast-to-order" companies combine orders and roast in large batches. Those coffee beans are roasted miles and days (or maybe weeks) away from the stores. Therefore, Roy’s Roast coffee is not roasted until it is ordered and each order is custom-roasted to your specifications (light, medium, or dark), one pound at a time. It is only available locally, so you can be sure that it is at its freshest.
Roy's Roast offers specialty-grade quality coffee, for the right price, at its freshest, and to the degree of roast that you prefer. Serving the City of Ventura and parts of Ventura County.

About Me
I have been a coffee lover for over 50 years. I began drinking coffee as a child when my grandmother would make us each a cup (mine with half milk and half coffee) and we would sit at the kitchen table and enjoy the company and the coffee (and, quite often, a rousing game of dominoes).
My love of coffee grew to the point where I wanted the best that I could get and at the freshest I could find. I grew frustrated with the selection and freshness level of the coffee beans available locally. My dissatisfaction grew to the point that I began roasting my own coffee beans. I found that I could get the coffee that I was seeking, at its freshest, and roasted to my liking.
I have now turned my love of coffee into a small home business; each order is homemade and gets the individual attention that you won't find in a store. I hope to give a few others the chance to get the freshest specialty-grade coffee available, roasted to the degree that they prefer.
Please enjoy,
Roy
